双星演化
葛宏伟,男,研究员。2010年7月获中国科学院云南天文台博士学位,并入职中国科学院云南天文台工作至今。2013.01-2014.01和2018.05-2019.05美国伊利诺伊大学访问学者;2022.01-2023.01英国剑桥大学访问学者。主要从事恒星物理、双星演化基本过程等方面的研究,针对双星快速物质交换改写恒星演化基本方程组,建立了恒星的绝热和热平衡物质损失模型;在此基础上各给出一套全新的、自洽的、基于物理模型的物质交换稳定性判据;改进了共有包层演化的经典能量机制描述。研究结果在双星演化及相关领域被广泛承认和应用于各类致密双星研究,改变了人们对重要引力波源双白矮星、恒星级双黑洞等主要形成通道的认识,研究成果被写入国际教科书、手册和多部国际专著。现为国际天文学联合会(IAU)恒星演化专业委员会G3 组委,美国天文学会国际会员,中国天文学会会员。
主持国家自然科学基金青A项目、面上项目和青年项目,中国科学院从0到1原始创新项目以及云南省杰出青年基金项目等。
