Jetted AGNs are among the most energetic phenomena in the universe. Investigating their multiwavelength variability properties not only shed light on the physical processes of the AGN jets but also provide important information of evolution of the universe. Here I present an introduction of our recent studies on Fermi blazars, including the first detection of gamma-ray emission from radio intermediate quasar (III Zw 2), quasi-simultaneous variability bwtween the broad-line emission and jet emission in 3C 345 and two cases of possible gamma-ray quasi-periodic modulations in PKS 0426–380 and PKS 2155-304. I also introduce our investigations on gamma-ray mis-aligned AGNs, such as detections of gamma-ray emission from strongly lobe-dominated quasar 3C 275.1 as well as two steep radio spectrum NLS1s.
