The talk has 5 parts, introduction, solar abundance problem, late-type stars, hot subdwarfs and white dwarfs.
The 1st part is on the distribution of stars in colour-magnitude diagram, stellar models and evolution, and
classical stellar atmosphere models.
The 2nd part is for solar granulation, solar Fe I Profile, helioseismology, OP opacity revisions, test of
stellar evolution models and ExoMol (method and line lists).
The 3rd part includes red giant evolution tracks, rapid core rotation in lower-giant-branch star,
asteroseismic separation of RGB and RC stars, and acoustic signatures of the helium core flash.
The 4th part discusses the formation channels of hot subdwarfs, distribution of sdB stars with asteroseismic
analysis, comparison of sdB star mass distributions, Teff-Logg diagram for sdB stars with Vsini, and possible
connection between sdB and HB stars.
The final part describes rigid body rotation in pulsating WD PG 1159-035 and discovery of hot DQ stars.
